◇Outline of Kichijoji Museum of Art
Musashino Kichijoji Museum of Art opened in February 2002 in the bustling Kichijoji district as a place to connect daily life and culture ・ and to become familiar with art. The museum's collection consists of approximately 2,500 works, including Japanese paintings, oil paintings, prints, and photographs by Kuura Noda. In addition to introducing these works from the collection, the museum also holds various special exhibitions to introduce various genres of expression, and serves as a "citizens' gallery" where citizens can present their creative works. The "HAMAGUCHI Yozo Memorial Room" and the "HAGIWARA Hideo Memorial Room" exhibit prints and related materials by both artists ・. The museum also focuses on educational activities such as lectures and workshops, and despite the small size of the facility, it aims to be an art museum with the motto "to see ・, create ・, and nurture
